Rebuild Light and Life Clinic in Honduras

Providing 24-hour care, Clinic Light and Life in San Luis is the principal medical facility for 45,000 people. It is the base for medical brigades that serve around 1,600 patients and see 80-100 conversions. The clinic’s surgery center and lab facilities provide surgeries and other medical services otherwise unavailable in the area.

For decades, the original clinic building has been a great blessing, but current structural issues require us to rebuild. Plans for the new Clinic Light and Life are specifically focused on increasing the quality of care for women and children. It will include an OB-GYN office, a larger maternity department, obstetric surgery rooms, a pediatrics department, an on-site X-ray room, and a larger pharmacy.

The estimated cost of rebuilding the clinic is $600,000.
